I liked that you tried simulating a simulation to see how the battery contributes! However, I think the outcome is negative because it assumes that the vehicles will maintain peak 1000kW throughout the charge (definitely not, at BYD's Han L/Tang L demo showed that it drops after 25%), and it ignores the couple minutes of relief from vehicles entering/leaving stalls. I kinda assumed that the grid is capable of ~600kW/station and the BESS only covers the extra 400kW at the start, but I'm not the right kind of engineer to make that assumption :)

Like Huawei said, I think these stations will be useful for heavy trucking, but there's less of a charging curve in those bigger 250kWh+ batteries when at only 1-1.5MW.
